Scenes from School

It's been a fun January so far. At school, we took a field trip to Mocha (Childrens' Art Museum in Oakland), took a rainy tour around the school neighborhood and did the general "kid stuff" that warrants mom and dad this steep tuition.

Happy New Decade!

This is going to be a good one! We even have a new member of the family. Meet Sammy. She is Green Doll's sister. Kaley can't get enough of her little soft pals.

Aayyyyy, part 2

A couple years ago, I was sporting dad's old Fonzi jacket. Man, these fine threads keep on keeping on! It's picture day at EBI so mamma dusted off my old man's duds and here it is again. I look twice as cool this time around, don't you think?

Classmate's birthday party

I like my new preschool, or at least my parents think I do. My classmate Lei-Lahni had a birthday party at Head over Heels and invited all of us. What's not to love?

Happy Birthday to Me!

I am four! I had a big party at Tilden Park today. My favorite part was the Pinata. I hope my friends enjoyed the candy, trucks, stickers, seaweed packs, tiny potties, mini bedpan nurse kits, japanese sushi erasers, plastic animals, wind-up walking noses, window markers, teeny loud trumpets, stencil books and other assorted weird stuff that dropped out once the big kids really took their whacks at the pinata. Thanks to Amelia's mom for an awesome Pin the Tail on the Donkey kit and MCing. We took home about 20 kilos of leftover chinese food and Kaley and I took loooong naps... my present to my mom and dad.

The Fifth of July

2 BBQs, a parade and an assortment of dogs that scared the beejeezus out of Kaley and me were not enough to deter an action packed Sunday. The morning started off with a big old Oakland fire truck rolling down our street to inspect properties (you know, fire prevention in the hills). Luckily, we had our grand estate cleared of brush and ivy just a week before.
Then we drove over the Richmond bridge to attend the Marin County Fair. It was an awesome trip that started with free parking, no lines at the merry go round and good weather. I also got to eat a corn dog, poke around an ambulance (no blood or bandaids), get tattooed by a cop, and paint lots of things. Next year, I hope to enter a pig into the agriculture tent.
